Adult Choir
Since our beginning, 50 years ago, the adult choir has been an important part of our worship services. Through the past years our choir members have been the most loyal, faithful and active of our church members. No other church organization meets every week ( on Thursday evening ) and is present for every Sunday worship service as well as several special services held during the year. We do take off for a well deserved vacation during the last part of June, July & August.
Our anthems range from the classics ( Bach, Handel, Mozart, etc. ) to spirituals, Early American tunes, traditional hymns or a variety of contemporary music. We have sung cantatas at Christmas & Easter and also prepared special music for Holy Week and Christmas productions . Several members have sung at Amberleigh, Beechwood & other Nursing Facilities as well as hosted a mass choir concert at Faith and other churches in our area.
